Description
The Festival of Rights is a signature Bend the Arc Hanukkah party that celebrates the spirit of resistance and leadership in our city. Join us to honor community leaders whose work has been instrumental in local campaigns for criminal justice reform, immigration reform, and housing justice. You bring the menorah, we’ll bring good food and drinks.
The short program will include the graduation of our current cohort of the Jeremiah Fellowship, which gives young justice-minded Jews the opportunity to integrate their Jewish values, culture, and community into their activism. Fellows have spent the last six months building their leadership in progressive local and statewide campaigns, and you’ll hear some of their reflections on their transformative experience.
We are excited to once again be part of the Infinite Light program, and to partner with NuRoots to connect more young adults to Bend the Arc’s work.
Ticket price: $36 per ticket
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please contact Mil Dranoff at [email protected] with the subject line “Festival of Rights” for a sliding scale ticket option.
As this is a registration free, this is not a charitable donation to the organization.
