Antisemitism and Immigration: A Messaging Guide for Jewish Clergy

Our safety as Jews is deeply connected to the safety of all our neighbors, including immigrants. But right-wing and white nationalist movements are increasingly using antisemitism and anti-immigrant xenophobia together to advance their agendas.

When fighting antisemitism is used as an excuse to harm immigrants in the false name of Jewish safety, Jewish clergy can be powerful, moral voices to call out the smokescreen and lead us toward shared safety.

Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice and T'ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights have partnered to develop a messaging guide that provides background and language to empower Jewish clergy to describe what’s at play and advocate for and inspire action towards our shared safety. Join us Wednesday, July 8 at 1pm ET for How to Talk About Antisemitism & Immigration Together with Jamie Beran (CEO, Bend the Arc) and Rabbi Jill Jacobs (CEO, T’ruah) to launch the new messaging guide for Jewish clergy with specific language you can use to clear the smokescreen, help keep immigrant families together, and dismantle antisemitism and all other oppressions.
